The CERAMITEC 2018 international trade fair for the ceramics and powder metallurgy industry is an extraordinary event. The fair took place in Munich on April 10-13 and we, as the 4INDUSTRY brand, managed to visit this industry and important event.

This fair has re-established its position as the number one knowledge platform in the ceramics and powder metallurgy industry, and the conference program was attended by top-class lecturers from around the world. The program of the CERAMITEC 2018 conference primarily offered solutions to today’s market challenges. After several difficult years, the industry looked at CERAMITEC 2018 with optimism. Therefore, the future-oriented topics of digitization and Industry 4.0 set the directions for professional knowledge exchange. The event was characterized by a very high degree of internationality among both exhibitors and visitors, 633 exhibitors came from 38 countries.

The areas of mechanical engineering and plant construction in the ceramic segment have a very international orientation and may therefore be affected by the possible effects of trade barriers. So the entire national and international “ceramic scene” gathered in Munich.

We had the opportunity to establish good commercial contacts and conclude negotiations on a large contract. Our observations show that CERAMITEC 2018 once again recorded a good turnout and high satisfaction ratings among both exhibitors and visitors. As many as 93% of exhibitors and 97% of visitors rated the event as excellent, very good or good. We agree with this opinion of 4INDUSTRY TEAM.
